Food was good but way to much food served per plate, I guess some people enjoy that. The place is great from big groups since they have multiple tables available for big groups of ppl. Didn't take long for them to sit us down (group of 9) and there were already other tables with about the same or more ppl. They let us bring a birthday cake since we were celebrating a birthday, you get a nice view of the planes landing and taking off. Great for kids to enjoy, high chairs. Easy and plenty of parking.
I always use this airport in the afternoon but I finally made it here the other day before closing time! Nice American/Mexican classic airport diner atmosphere that serves up brunch menus! I had a hearty meal at a fair price. Service was prompt. I can see it’ll be a fun brunch spot with the kids at the outdoor patio!
VERY COOL SPOT THAT IS AT A LOCAL SMALL AIRPORT (EL MONTE AIRPORT) WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY THE PLANES COME AND GO. TIP: GO ON A WEEK DAY INSTEAD OF A WEEKEND. IT IS QUITE POPULAR FOR WEEKEND BREAKFAST, BUT NO LONGER THAN A 20-30 MIN WAIT. I HAVE ENJOYED A SEAT OUT ON THE PATIO TO WATCH THE PLANES COME AND GO ONTO THE SMALL STRIP OF THE AIRPORT. THERE ARE SIGN UPS FOR FLIGHT SCHOOLS, AERIAL PHOTOS OF OTHER LOCAL SMALL AIRPORTS. AND A SMALL PATIO WHERE YOU CAN ALSO WAIT FOR YOUR TABLE TO BE READY AS WELL. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND TASTY. I GOT THE CHILAQUILES AND THE FRENCH TOAST PLATE, AND A SMALL MENUDO FOR START. EVERYTHING ACTUALLY CAME OUT QUITE FAST AND TASTED GREAT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS PERFECT.
My family and I enjoyed our experience at this restaurant, the food was good and the atmosphere was amazing. My son definitely enjoyed watching the airplanes take off while having brunch.

The food was amazing the biscuits were like your grandmother made them in the kitchen. Service was excellent . Atmosphere was incredible, you can sit outside and see the planes come in and leave.
Had brunch here with a couple friends on Sunday and it was a really nice experience. The food came out pretty quick even though the place was fairly busy. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs and it tasted fresh and well made. The coffee was good too, which is always important for me. Our server checked on us just enough without being overbearing. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to sit and chat for a while. Not every dish at the table was perfect, but overall everyone enjoyed their meal. I'd defintely come back when I'm in the area again.
4.5, super cool and great food! i got the pilot's favorite omelet and it was so good, big serving and even came with a choice of pancakes, french toast, and some others (i forgot). really great deal for 17$. the potatoes were amazing and really everything was so good. staff were nice and the inside was very cute homey diner and outside seating has a nice view of the planes.
4/7/26 So was first time to this place but came with all the family and enjoyed sitting outside watching the planes take off and land . It's right on the small El Monte Airport. I unfortunately didn't get waiter name but she was amazing and got everything we needed. It did take a little bit to get our food because it was actually quite busy. Nonetheless the food was good. I had the 4 bacon Brekky with sunny side up eggs and toast and it all was delicious and came out nice and hot. We all enjoyed our food and had a good time . Will come back when visiting again. Enjoy !!!!
Just a very nice place for good old fashion breakfast and lunch. Very nice parking lot. Makes you feel as if you're traveling and just waiting at the lounge. And breakfast is just next door. Food is great. Oatmeal and traditional eggs, sausage, bacon and pancake is just wonderful. Especially their sausage. It's big and delicious. Service is very responsive and quick. They also have patio seating so you can watch the planes and have a great meal.
